About
Trung Vu is the founder and perfumer of Grimoire Parfums, an independent fragrance brand based in Australia. He is a self-taught perfumer who spent about a decade working in luxury retail and cosmetics before creating the brand. Prior to his work in fragrance, he worked professionally as a dancer trained in classical, jazz and contemporary technique, and later as a makeup artist. Grimoire Parfums was established with the intention of blending classical perfumery technique with storytelling and cultural references, making use of ingredients that are often not viable for large-scale commercial production.
