Wessel-Jan Kos is a Dutch perfumer from Hilversum and a third-generation perfumer, following his father and self-taught grandfather (Fumerie, Kos Fragrances). Born in 1968, he studied chemistry in Amsterdam before attending ISIPCA in Versailles to train in fragrance creation (Kos Fragrances). He has worked as a perfumer for dsm‑firmenich, where he appears in their "A Scented Life" series as one of the company’s master perfumers (dsm-firmenich YouTube). His portfolio includes work for various international brands, and he is also linked to the family perfume venture Kos Fragrances (Fragrantica, Kos Fragrances).
