AXE Watermelon Freeze is an Eau de Toilette launched in 2025. Watermelon Freeze opens with Lime and Watermelon, settles into a heart of Sage, and dries down to a base of Cedar and Sandalwood. AXE's Watermelon Freeze carries an Acquired verdict, a ozonic-led wear.

This one sounds like a bit of a misfire, frankly. If you're after a proper, juicy watermelon, you'll be disappointed. It's more of an artificial, sweet-shop take, with a heavy-handed sage note that some will find off-putting. Not a crowd-pleaser.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:

Versatile across every season - no clear seasonal preference from wearers.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Casual
Also Works:
Sport

Its artificial sweetness and strong sage note suggest it's better suited for very casual settings or during sports. The potential for strong sillage (given the accord composition) would make it too much for an office or formal event.

About

Opens with an artificial, sweet blast of watermelon, less fresh fruit and more like a bag of pick-n-mix. A zesty, but fleeting, lime note tries to cut through, but it's quickly overwhelmed by a prominent, green sage. The base settles into a rather generic woody blend of cedar and sandalwood, which does little to lift the overall impression. An aquatic and ozonic feel runs throughout, but it's not enough to rescue the initial artificiality.
