Cloud Luxe opens with the same fluffy marshmallow-and-cream idea that made Kayali's Yum Boujee Marshmallow 81 a viral favourite, sweetened by tart lemon and crisp apple. The heart keeps things gourmand with strawberry and coconut folded through the marshmallow, before settling into a simple vanilla, musk and sugar base. Kayali's original is known as much for its short lifespan as its scent, with most wearers reporting it fading within a couple of hours, and Cloud Luxe's flatter, less nuanced structure actually holds its shape a touch longer on skin, even if it never reaches the same fluffy, cloud-like realism at first spray.
