Inspired Perfumes' 333 takes on Marc Jacobs Daisy's fresh fruity-floral signature - blood grapefruit and strawberry over a violet, gardenia and jasmine heart, finished with a soft musk and white woods base. The fruit notes are pushed a little louder and sweeter here than on the original, which favours a lighter, more transparent citrus-berry blend, but the overall fresh, youthful impression is recognisably Daisy. The violet and jasmine heart reads thinner in this oil format, and the musky white-woods base - which gives the real Daisy its soft, lingering skin-scent quality for hours - fades much faster here, typically within a couple of hours. It is an easy, pretty daytime floral for anyone who loves Daisy's springtime character but wants a cheaper everyday option, accepting that it needs reapplying to last through a full day.
