Lantern Reed opens with a sharp, almost aggressive burst of grapefruit, immediately juxtaposed with a potent, grassy greenness reminiscent of vetiver. It's an aromatic and fresh spicy hit that quickly introduces an earthy, rather unexpected animalic funk. As it settles, iris adds a subtle powdery nuance, evolving into a faint sweet, leathery character warmed by vanilla, and finally, a wisp of smoke drifts in, making for a truly complex and unconventional journey. It's a clean scent, but one that challenges expectations.
