Layered, narrative compositions built from contrasting fragrance parts; Alina combines amber, pink pepper, bergamot, vanilla, clove, orris, jasmine, frankincense, patchouli and sandalwood, while The Bee’s Knees uses sweet honey, sun-warmed skin and subtle smoky, hay-like facets.
About
Alina Gliwinska is an in-house perfumer at Lush, where she has worked in fragrance research and development since 2017 and as a junior perfumer since 2021 in Poole, England. She composed Alina, a permanent Lush perfume launched in 2024, using three fragrance parts inspired by different generations. She also created The Bee’s Knees, drawing on memories of her father, a beekeeper, with honeyed, sun-warmed, subtly smoky and hay-like facets.
