Anne Flipo is a French master perfumer celebrated as one of the most prolific and influential noses in contemporary perfumery. Hailing from near Laon, France, her fascination with scent began in her childhood garden and blossomed during her studies at the prestigious ISIPCA in Versailles, under the mentorship of Michel Almairac. Flipo joined International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) in 2004 and has since risen to the role of Vice President and earned the rare title of Master Perfumer, a distinction acknowledging her outstanding expertise. Over her career, Flipo has composed an extensive and diverse portfolio, creating iconic fragrances for leading houses such as Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent, Paco Rabanne, Givenchy, and Jo Malone London. She is known for her collaborative spirit, notably working alongside Dominique Ropion. Her creations, such as Burberry Brit Rhythm, Chloé Love Story, Jimmy Choo Illicit, Paco Rabanne Lady Million, and the Herb Garden collection for Jo Malone London, showcase her ability to balance natural and synthetic materials, infusing sophistication and emotional resonance into each scent. Flipo has played a pivotal role in shaping modern fragrance trends and continues to inspire both peers and aspiring perfumers with her creative vision and dedication to the art of transmission.
