Yves Saint Laurent Libre is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2019, created by Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm. Libre opens with Mandarin, Petitgrain, Lavender, and Blackcurrant, settles into a heart of Orange Blossom and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Musk, Cedar, Vanilla, and Ambergris. About

Libre sets a cool lavender against a warm orange blossom. The aromatic opening pairs lavender with mandarin, blackcurrant and petitgrain. The heart is lush, luminous white florals: orange blossom and jasmine, with a faint sweetness and a powdery musk. It is a bouquet with a bit of nerve. Below that, creamy vanilla, cedar and ambergris give a smooth, almost skin-like warmth. The scent reads as both fresh and deeply sensual. Lasting power is long and projection is moderate, so it holds up across a day without shouting. It fits the office, casual outings and especially dates, and is elegant enough for semi-formal events. It is too polished for sport.
