Asem (often also written Asim) Al Qassim is an Emirati perfumer described by several sources, including Parfinity and Luckyscent, as the first certified perfumer from the United Arab Emirates. Originally trained and working as an architect, he later moved into fragrance creation. He is the founder and in-house nose of the niche brand Anfas, sometimes styled “Anfas by Asim/Asim Al Qassim”, where he develops perfumes inspired by his Emirati environment and culture, as confirmed by his own brand interview and multiple retailer profiles.
