United States Born 0 Guess

Draws strongly on visual-art training in sculpture and cinematography, often speaking about building fragrances with textural contrasts. Enjoys developing across formats (EDT, candles, soaps, lotions, lip products) and transferring learnings between them. Shows particular interest in sacred/spiritual themes, ritual, and garden-led “farm to fragrance” freshness tailored to younger consumers like Gen Z.

About

Christine Hassan is a New York-based perfumer at Givaudan, working from the company’s Fine Fragrance Creative Centre and across multiple applications including eaux de toilette, candles, soaps, lotions and lip products. She holds dual degrees from the University of Virginia - a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Studio Art (Sculpture and Cinematography) - and completed a Master’s in Perfumery at ISIPCA in 2010. Earlier in her career she trained at Drom’s perfumery school and worked in both its German and New York offices. Her work has included fine fragrance and home fragrance projects for clients such as Village Candle, and she often cites sacred and spiritual themes, cultural rituals, and “farm to fragrance” garden-led concepts as creative inspirations.
