Brecourt
Frequently cited for her command of natural ingredients, Bouge has built a reputation on structurally precise yet opulent compositions, often highlighting rich floral, citrus and resinous notes in formats ranging from fine fragrance to candles. Her work for Middle Eastern markets reflects familiarity with dense woods, amber and spice accords tailored to that region’s tastes.
Émilie Bouge is a French perfumer born into a Grasse family with a perfumery heritage going back about two centuries. She studied perfumery for three years at ISIPCA in Versailles before starting her career at LMR (Laboratoire Monique Rémy). She then joined Charabot, later acquired by Robertet, where she helped set up the company’s laboratory in Indonesia and went on to specialize in fragrance development for the Middle East from 2012. In 2019 she became part of Robertet’s perfumer team in Grasse, and in April 2024 she joined Takasago in Paris as a Senior Perfumer. Her client work includes collaborations with houses such as Creed, Trudon, Acqua di Parma, Xerjoff and candle brands Baobab and Trudon, for which she created scents including Trudon Ernesto and Maduraï and several Acqua di Parma home fragrances.
