Brecourt 2010 EDP
Farah
by Émilie Bouge
Brecourt Farah is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2010, created by Émilie Bouge. Farah opens with Bergamot, Cinnamon, and Styrax, settles into a heart of Date, Leather, Cedar, and Honey, and dries down to a base of Musk, Patchouli, Tonka Bean, and Labdanum. Brecourt's Farah carries an Acquired verdict, a sweet-led wear.
A divisive one, this. Brecourt Farah is either a phenomenal, warm gourmand with an Arabian flair, or a synthetic, overly sweet concoction trying too hard to emulate better-known scents. If you love honeyed cinnamon and dates, you might be in for a treat.

When To Wear
Best Seasons
A cold-weather scent - best worn in autumn and winter.
Best Occasions
Farah's strong, sweet, and spicy character makes it less suitable for an office environment, but it shines on dates and casual outings, especially in cooler weather. While it has an elegant side, it's a bit too gourmand for most formal events.
