Oajan

Parfums de Marly Oajan is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2013. The fragrance opens with Osmanthus, Honey, and Cinnamon, settles into a heart of Labdanum, Artemisia, Ambergris, and Benzoin, and dries down to a base of Patchouli, Musk, Tonka Bean, and Vanilla.

Our verdict on Oajan: Acquired

This one's a proper Christmas cracker, if you're into smelling like a gourmet mince pie. It's a divisive gourmand Beast Mode scent from older batches, though newer ones seem to have taken a hit in the oomph department. Still, it's a beautifully blended, indulgent treat for cold weather.

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

A cold-weather scent - best worn in winter and autumn.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date
Also Works:
Casual Formal

Given its strong projection and rich gourmand character, Oajan is far too intense for a typical office environment. It shines brightest on a date or for evening casual wear, as its warmth and sweetness create an inviting aura. For formal events, it suits colder weather where its opulent nature can be appreciated without being overwhelming. Definitely not for sport.

About

Imagine a rich, sticky honey-drenched cinnamon bun, still warm from the oven, with a hint of dried fruit and a creamy vanilla swirl. The vibrant cinnamon and sweet honey kick things off, melting into a seductive heart of amber and resinous benzoin. The dry-down settles into a comforting blanket of musky vanilla and tonka, with a subtle earthy patchouli keeping it grounded and never cloying. It's an edible, opulent embrace.
