The Dupe League
Every dupe house ranked by how many perfumes it clones, with its average match alongside.
This table ranks dupe houses by how many perfumes they clone - the breadth of their catalogue, biggest first. Size on its own isn't quality, so read it alongside the average match column: a house with a huge range but a low average makes a lot of clones that don't get very close, while a high average means its clones actually smell like what they copy. The best-clone column shows each house's single closest hit, so you can spot the inconsistent ones - a stellar best clone next to a mediocre average.
70 houses are ranked here. A further 84 hold fewer than 5 paired dupes and are left out as too small to rank. Figures come from our catalogue and move as new pairings are added. Prices are per 100ml so bottles of different sizes can be compared, and are the cheapest live UK listing we hold. Dupes are independent fragrances inspired by the originals, not affiliated with or produced by them. How we score similarity. Browse every pair in the Dupe Index, or see which originals get copied most in the Dupe Chart.
Dupe brands: common questions
Which dupe brand makes the most dupes?
Perfume Parlour leads with 2468 dupes across 2310 originals, at a 73% average match. The biggest catalogues belong to the established houses, but size isn't quality - always read the average-match column alongside.
What is a dupe house?
A brand whose range is built to smell like designer and niche originals - Perfume Parlour, Match Fragrances, Jubilee Scents and the like. Some openly name their inspirations; others leave you to spot them. They sell their own independent fragrances, not counterfeits of the originals.
Does a bigger dupe brand mean better dupes?
Not on its own. A house can hold hundreds of clones and still average a weak match, so the biggest brand isn't automatically the best. Read the dupe count next to the average-match column, and check the best-clone column: a brilliant best clone beside a mediocre average means the house is inconsistent, so the scent you want may not be one they got right.
