Elixir Noir opens with an explosive spiced blast of cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom cut with fresh grapefruit, a faithful echo of Sauvage Elixir's famously intense opening. Lavender takes over at the heart, giving the same clean, aromatic masculine signature that anchors Dior's original. The base of licorice, sandalwood, amber, patchouli and Haitian vetiver is where the dupe diverges most: on the real Elixir this stage thickens into a genuinely syrupy, almost gourmand density, while here it stays comparatively light and clean, trading intensity for wearability.
