MATCH Perfumes Lost Cherry - No.14 is an Eau de Parfum. Lost Cherry - No.14 opens with Cherry Liqueur, Almond, and Black Cherry, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, Plum, and Cherry, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood, Patchouli, Tonka Bean, and Benzoin. MATCH Perfumes's Lost Cherry - No.14 carries an Acquired verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Match Perfumes No.14 dupes Tom Ford's Lost Cherry, a boozy-sweet cherry gourmand. The black cherry and bitter almond opening is a close match, but the rose-jasmine heart and tonka-patchouli base come through thinner, with weaker sillage than the rich, long-wearing original.

About

No.14 opens with a bold rush of black cherry, cherry liqueur and bitter almond, capturing Lost Cherry's signature boozy-sweet snap convincingly for the first hour or two. The heart brings cherry, plum, Turkish rose and jasmine sambac, echoing the original's fruity-floral character, though it reads a touch more one-dimensional and less velvety. Tonka bean, sandalwood, patchouli and benzoin round out the base, giving a warm, cosy gourmand finish rather than the deep, resinous richness Lost Cherry is famous for. Longevity and projection also fall short of the original, softening within a few hours where the designer version can hold strong sillage well past that mark. Still, for the price this dupe delivers a very wearable cherry-almond gourmand that fans of the original's opening notes will recognise instantly, even if the full journey doesn't quite go the distance.
