MATCH Perfumes Another 13 - No.28 is an Eau de Parfum. Another 13 - No.28 opens with Citrus, Apple, and Pear, settles into a heart of Musk, Jasmine, and Moss, and dries down to a base of Musk and Ambergris. MATCH Perfumes's Another 13 - No.28 carries an Acquired verdict, a musky-led wear.

No.28 chases Le Labo's Another 13 - that famous ambroxan-driven skin scent - opening on the same pear-and-citrus brightness before settling into a soft musk. It gets the clean, radiant character close but the musk reads thinner and less velvety, and it fades to a bare skin scent noticeably sooner than the original's slow-burning ambroxan base.

About

Another 13 by Le Labo built its cult reputation on ambroxan - a synthetic musk that gives the fragrance a radiant, almost weightless skin-scent quality, wrapped around a crisp pear-and-citrus opening and a whisper of jasmine and moss. It reads clean and intimate rather than loud, the kind of scent people lean in to notice. Match Perfumes' No.28 borrows the same structure - pear, apple and citrus up top, ambrette and moss at heart, iso e super and musk underneath - and captures the general shape of that fresh-clean-musky signature reasonably well on first spray. The gap shows up over time: the original's ambroxan has a velvety, almost creamy depth that builds and lingers for hours, while No.28's musk is flatter and thinner, losing its radiance and dropping to bare skin much faster. It is a fair everyday approximation of the mood - soft, clean, quietly sensual - but misses the slow-building intimacy that makes the original a signature scent for so many wearers, and both projection and longevity trail well behind.
