Flowerbomb built its identity on an almost overwhelming bouquet of white flowers set against a sweet, syrupy patchouli base, and this One Pure Drop oil captures the floral heart well. Jasmine and rose arrive rich and true, with orchid rounding out the bouquet, and the overall impression is unmistakably in the Flowerbomb family. The base is where it diverges most: the original's dense, almost candied patchouli-praline finish is replaced here with a lighter musk-vanilla combination, which makes the dupe read fresher and less syrupy over time. Some will prefer this softer balance if the original's density feels like too much. As an oil, the floral intensity is still considerable from a single drop, so it's worth applying sparingly - this remains a fragrance built to be noticed, even in its simplified form.
