Hugo Boss - Bottled Perfume Oil is unusual among One Pure Drop's range in that the brand's own product page actually lists a pyramid, rather than generic marketing copy, and it maps closely onto the real Boss Bottled: a crisp green apple and lemon opening lifted by mint, a tonka bean and geranium heart carried by synthetic ambroxan, and a base of Madagascar vanilla, oakmoss, vetiver and cedar. That is a reasonably faithful skeleton of the 1998 designer original's fruity-woody-aromatic profile, missing mainly the cinnamon-plum spice that gives the real Boss Bottled its warmer, slightly gourmand edge. In oil form the green apple opening is softer and less sparkling than the spray, and the vetiver-cedar base sits close to skin rather than filling a room. Longevity runs a solid four to six hours for an oil, helped by the vanilla and ambroxan base, though projection never gets past arm's length. It is a workable budget alcohol-free option for someone who wants the familiar Boss Bottled fruity-woody character for daily office wear without committing to a full bottle of the original, but it will not match the designer version's sillage or its warmer spice.'
