About
François Merle-Baudoin is a French perfumer from Grasse, born into a fifth-generation family of perfumers; his grandfather created the classic Anaïs Anaïs for Cacharel. According to Fragrance Du Bois, after graduation he undertook formal training at Roure’s fragrance school in Grasse, then worked with international fragrance houses in France, Singapore and Australia. He has composed several perfumes for Fragrance Du Bois, including London Oud, Oud Noir and Sahraa Oud, and he is also credited by Fragrantica and retailers such as Fumerie with Goldfield & Banks scents like Desert Rosewood, Pacific Rock Moss, Southern Bloom and White Sandalwood. His work further includes niche projects such as Melt It Slowly for Myra Parfume.
