Henri Giboulet was a French perfumer who worked with the historic house Lubin in Paris. In 1955 he composed the original Gin Fizz for Lubin, a chic, sparkling and fresh fragrance created as a tribute to Grace Kelly and named after the cocktail popular in the American bars of Paris at the time. Gin Fizz became one of Lubin’s emblematic mid‑century creations, later reinterpreted by Thomas Fontaine while retaining Giboulet’s authorship of the original formula.
