About

Jean-Charles Sommerard is a French master perfumer and aromatherapy specialist. He founded Sevessence in 2007, a company focused on natural and organic fragrances, olfactory signatures, and sensory marketing. He later co-founded the French fragrance house Maie Piou with Szajna Zinenberg; the brand launched in December 2023 with the Ambrogyne collection. Sommerard has also created certified-organic, 100% natural perfumes for TooFruit and worked on fragrances for L'Oréal, Maison Rosessence, and Huygens.
