Jimmy Bodin is a French perfumer and co-founder of Jousset Parfums, a niche brand named in memory of his mother, whose love of luxurious perfume sparked his interest in fragrance. Coming from a modest background in France, he taught himself perfumery after becoming captivated by an oriental scent he could not afford to replace, learning to identify and work with perfume ingredients on his own. He later became in-house perfumer for brands such as Jousset Parfums and Perestish Parfums, focusing on fragrances with strong sillage, longevity and depth, and his creations have been produced in France and associated with cities such as Barcelona. His work includes numerous niche launches known in enthusiast circles for their powerful, long-lasting compositions.
