About

Leonardo Opali was born in Valdagno, Italy, in 1954 and is based in Arzignano, in the Vicenza area. He became a perfumer in 1984 after taking over his family perfumery with Alessandra Cortiana. Opali founded TAF The Artisan Fragrance in London in 2010 and later established TAF Fragranze Artigianali in Italy, where he creates one-off fragrances through workshops with clients. His documented creations include Villa Pojana, Villa Cornaro and Villa Venier Contarini, and he collaborated with Paolo Cerizza on Spiritica's Lynch aka Smoked Styrax.
