About

Louise Turner is a celebrated British perfumer whose career trajectory is as luminous as her creations. Born and raised in the south of England, she developed an early passion for scent inspired by the wildflowers of Kent, particularly honeysuckle and lilac. Although she initially pursued a degree in dentistry, her path changed during a break from studies when she took a temporary position at Quest, now part of Givaudan. This experience ignited her interest in perfumery, leading her to join Givaudan as a perfumer in 2000. Turner has since crafted fragrances for many of the world's top brands, including Carolina Herrera, Tom Ford, Maison Martin Margiela, Roberto Cavalli, and Chloé, to name a few. Her portfolio spans both designer and niche houses, reflecting her versatility and ability to adapt her creativity to varying levels of creative freedom. Turner is particularly known for her joyful and uplifting style, often drawing inspiration from nature and her travels. Her ability to evoke not just the scent but also the texture and pleasure of flowers is highly regarded in the industry. With well over 130 fragrances to her name, Turner continues to shape contemporary perfumery with her passion and artistry.
