Lucien Ferrero

Lucien Ferrero

From his Anthologie collection and related brand materials, Ferrero often emphasizes a Belle Parfumerie elegance built on classical raw materials such as orange blossom, jasmine and rose, sometimes using traditional alcoholates to evoke vintage French perfumery. His work for Anthologie frequently pairs romantic themes and personal memories with soft florals, musks and gentle woods, as seen in scents like Par Amour Pour Elle and Rose Abricot.

About

Lucien Ferrero is a French perfumer based in Grasse who has worked in perfumery since the 1960s and 1970s. Early in his career he created fragrances for the historic French house Lubin, and decades later Lubin rehired him, alongside perfumer Thomas Fontaine, both to update his earlier formulas such as L to modern regulatory standards and to compose new scents including Itasca. Now an independent, semi‑retired perfumer, he is the creator and namesake of the niche line Anthologie by Lucien Ferrero, for which he has authored several compositions inspired by his personal memories and experiences, including Par Amour Pour Elle, a fragrance described by the brand as a tribute to his wife and their love story.
