Raised in Paris with formative summers spent in the South of France, Lernout was deeply influenced by a family of artists and free spirits, nurturing her creative outlook from a young age. She honed her expertise at ISIPCA, one of the world's most respected perfumery schools, before embarking on a career that would see her collaborating with top fragrance houses and brands. Lernout has crafted perfumes for prestigious names such as Kenzo, Elie Saab, Nina Ricci, Burberry, and Molton Brown, and currently holds the title of Senior Perfumer at Takasago in France. Her work is marked by a dedication to the art and science of fragrance, seamlessly blending rigorous technique with inspired artistry. Lernout’s creations, like Molton Brown Flora Luminare, Lolita Lempicka LolitaLand, and Nina Ricci Rose Extase, are recognized for their elegance, modernity, and joyful luminosity. Her influence continues to grow, as she remains a respected figure in contemporary perfumery.
