Marine Mercé is a French perfumer whose journey into fragrance began in her idyllic hometown of Rambouillet, near Paris, where her early sensory experiences with nature and the emblematic lily of the valley sparked her passion for scent. Drawn to contrasts and the interplay of authenticity and fantasy, Marine's creative path was shaped by a love of the performing arts and a deep curiosity for the invisible world of emotions. Her academic background includes a DUT in Chemistry and formal perfumery training at ISIPCA, after which she honed her skills at smaller fragrance houses in the Netherlands. In 2019, she joined the Fine Fragrance Perfumery School at dsm-firmenich, training in London under Martin Koh, in New York with Gabriela Chelariu, and in Paris under the mentorship of Marie Salamagne and Bruno Jovanovic. Marine's work is characterized by emotional storytelling, a playful sense of wonder, and inspiration drawn from both her travels and personal milestones, such as the birth of her daughter. She has contributed to numerous fragrances for international brands, bringing a sense of magic and expressive artistry to contemporary perfumery.
