Mélanie Carestia is a French perfumer based in the Paris area, working as a fine fragrance perfumer at Sozio in the company’s Levallois office. She joined Sozio after spending about nine years at Robertet, where she progressed from perfumer’s student to junior perfumer under the guidance of renowned mentors Francis Camail and Michel Almairac. Carestia has created fragrances such as Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo - Ginepro di Sardegna and Ferrari Radiant Bergamot Essence, and is credited with the Carven Paris Angkor fragrance. Her portfolio also includes work for brands like Alyssa Ashley and niche house Côte Noire.
