Silvia Martinelli is the co-founder and perfumer of Giardini di Toscana, a niche fragrance brand rooted in her family's perfumery tradition that began in 1942 when her grandparents Giovan Piero and Emma Ducci opened a shop of fragrances and ointments in Bibbiena, a medieval village in Tuscany's Casentino Valley. She has over 50 years of experience, refined through studies at prestigious perfumery schools in Italy and France. The brand has evolved from a local workshop into an international niche fragrance house across four generations. She composes perfumes including Blu Mare (green and marine notes led by cypress evoking wild landscapes and salty breeze), Blu Indaco (described by her as elegant, refined, exclusive), Verde Respiro (aromatic fougere/fruity), Ricordami (floral/woody), and Oro e Miele (floral/ambery oriental).
