About

Sofia Bardelli is an Italian perfumer based in Dubai. She holds an MSc in Pharmacy from the Università degli Studi di Pavia (2011-2016) and later passed the Italian qualification exam to practise as a pharmacist. In 2017 she attended the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in the Givaudan promotion, earning an international technical degree in fragrance creation and sensory evaluation. After graduation she joined a French fragrance house as an analytical perfumer, deepening her knowledge of natural and synthetic raw materials, before returning to Italy in January 2019 as a creative perfumer. Bardelli is now a perfumer at Technicoflor and has created fragrances for international and Italian brands, including Morph perfumes, and co-founded the star-themed niche brand In Astra with her sister Fabiola. In 2023 she won ScentXplore’s Rising Star Perfumer award by popular vote.
