About Sahari

Sahari is a perfume brand made in Dubai, UAE, and marketed by Beauty & Perfume International (BPI), a Dubai fragrance factory whose other brands include Le Falcone Niche, Amaran, Camara, Mirada and Petrova. BPI describes itself as a state-of-the-art factory with decades of experience brought by its founders, selling its own brands in more than eighty countries. The Sahari logo is a stag with Arabic calligraphy above the name, and most scent names are Arabic. The brand pages name no founder and give no founding year.

The range is wide. BPI's Sahari collection lists 47 perfumes, almost all unisex Eau de Parfum in 100 ml bottles, priced from 95 to 195 UAE dirhams. They run in families: Marjan, Nashwa, Malaki, Riwaya, Saray, Hamsah, Fann, Crystal and Ramz, beside single-name scents such as Al Lulu Al Abiyedh, Al Mas, Ikhtiyari and Artoghrol. Each product page gives a three-phase note list and the line Proudly made in Dubai, UAE.

The notes that recur are vanilla, bergamot, amber, jasmine, patchouli and musk, with tonka bean, cedar, rose and sandalwood close behind. The styles cover fruity florals, sweet vanilla and gourmand scents, fresh citrus and aromatic scents, and oud, amber and leather blends. Sahari sells on BPI's own store and through online resellers. It sits at the accessible end of Arabian perfumery, for wearers who want a Dubai-made Eau de Parfum without a niche price.
