A synthetic macrocyclic musk with one double bond in a 15-membered ring. It smells of clean, radiant white musk with a metallic edge that the trade describes as hot iron or freshly pressed linen. Powdery warmth and a dry woody undertone sit under it. It is very tenacious and stays transparent rather than heavy.

Scent Profile

Clean_musk is the whole material and both sources lead with it. dsm-firmenich calls it an extremely elegant and substantive musk and a very powerful one, combining the strength and tenacity of aromatic musks with the elegance of macrocyclic musks. Mineral is the metallic hot-iron and pressed-linen facet, which is the one thing that separates it from the rest of the white-musk group it is otherwise filed with. Powdery is the soft, powdery-warm reading Scentspiracy gives it.
