About
Lemon tea tree is steam distilled from the leaves of Leptospermum petersonii, an Australian shrub. Citral dominates the oil. It smells like an intense, sweet lemon, heavier and less airy than lemon oil, with a eucalyptus lift and a tangy citronella edge. It is used as a strong lemon top note.

An intense, sweet lemon with a green herbaceous edge underneath and a faint cooling lift. Closer to lemongrass than to lemon, and more tenacious than either.
