What this is made of
Origin
Steam distilled from Melaleuca ericifolia, an Australian paperbark and a relative of tea tree. Its high linalool content is what separates it, and it is often sold as lavender tea tree.
Usage in Perfumery
Used where tea tree's freshness is wanted without its antiseptic harshness; its linalool makes it blend easily with lavender and citrus.
