Aēsop Gloam is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2023, created by Barnabé Fillion. Aēsop's Gloam carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

Gloam is a divisive one, a 'love it or hate it' scent that leans into the intriguing and sometimes challenging note of cumin. Not a safe blind buy, but for those who get it, it's a captivating, intimate experience.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Gloam opens with a spicy, almost medicinal kick, quickly joined by the unique, warm embrace of saffron. As it settles, a powdery, earthy iris emerges, beautifully complemented by the soft, pollen-rich mimosa. Woody undertones provide a grounded base, creating a dusky, atmospheric scent that feels both feral and refined, with a distinct, human warmth that lingers close to the skin.
