About

Burberry's Hero built its modern masculine identity on a fresh, green fougere structure pairing citrus and mint with lavender and a warm woody-amber base. No 58 opens with mandarin and mint for a crisp, cooling start that reads close to the original's energetic opening. Lavender and geranium carry the heart with the same aromatic, slightly green character that gives Hero its fougere backbone, and this section is genuinely one of the more faithful parts of the composition. Oakmoss and amber round out the base for a soft, mossy woody finish, echoing the designer's direction without matching its fuller depth or duration. The oakmoss-amber base thins into a light, clean woody scent well before Hero's more substantial dry-down settles in.
