Blossom Perfumery 540 Virginia Water is an Eau de Parfum. 540 Virginia Water opens with Bergamot, Mandarin, Lime, and Coconut, settles into a heart of Hibiscus, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, and Ginger, and dries down to a base of Sugar and Musk. Blossom Perfumery's 540 Virginia Water carries an Acquired verdict, a coconut-led wear.

540 delivers the same tropical coconut-lime opening as Creed's Virgin Island Water, but the jasmine-ylang heart is thinner and the musk-sugar base is sweeter and much shorter-lived than the original's smooth, patchouli-anchored drydown.

About

540 goes straight for Creed Virgin Island Water's signature move - a sun-drenched blend of coconut, lime and bergamot that reads bright and holiday-like from the first spray. The floral heart of ginger, ylang-ylang, jasmine and hibiscus is a fair approximation but comes across softer and less textured than the original's tropical-fruit-and-white-flower blend. The biggest drop-off is in the base: where Virgin Island Water settles into a smooth, slightly dry patchouli-and-tonka drydown that keeps the coconut in check for hours, this version leans into a sweeter, simpler musk-and-sugar finish that fades within a couple of hours. It is a fun, beachy citrus-coconut for casual summer days, but does not chase the original's polish or staying power.
