Sovereign opens with an almost overwhelming surge of rose, rich and true, quickly joined by the green, slightly powdery hint of violet leaf. The heart deepens with more rose, specifically Bulgarian, complemented by a fresh, clean geranium note that adds a touch of brightness. It finally settles into a pure, majestic Rose de Mai, airy and elegant, with an ozonic and subtly aquatic quality that prevents it from becoming too heavy, keeping the grand floral display surprisingly dewy and fresh throughout.
