Dupe Perfumes Daisy is an Eau de Parfum. Daisy opens with Berries, Grapefruit, and Violet, settles into a heart of Jasmine, Violet, and Gardenia, and dries down to a base of Musk, Sandalwood, and Vanilla. Dupe Perfumes's Daisy carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Dupe Todaisy captures Daisy's fruity-floral charm reasonably well, grapefruit and wild berries up top, jasmine and gardenia through the heart, but Marc Jacobs' soft, powdery vanilla-musk drydown is replaced here with a simpler, sweeter finish that reads a shade more generic once the fruit fades.

About

Daisy built its reputation on being effortlessly pretty rather than complicated: a burst of grapefruit and berries, a soft floral heart, and a gentle powdery-sweet finish that never tries too hard. Dupe Todaisy follows that same shape closely. The opening is genuinely close - tart grapefruit against juicy wild berries gives a fresh, slightly sharp fruitiness that mirrors the original's strawberry-and-redcurrant character well, and violet adds an extra powdery lift the real Daisy only hints at. The heart brings gardenia and jasmine forward with violet lingering underneath, landing somewhere close to the original's jasmine-gardenia-muguet blend, though the florals here feel a touch flatter and less dewy. The base is the clearest point of difference. Marc Jacobs' vanilla-woods-musk drydown has a soft, cosmetic, almost skin-like quality that a lot of fans specifically cite as Daisy's best feature; Dupe Todaisy's vanilla-musk-sandalwood base is sweeter and simpler by comparison, without quite that same soft-focus, powdery finish. It still lands in the right neighbourhood tonally, fresh, pretty, unfussy, which is really what most people reach for Daisy for in the first place, even if the fine detail in the drydown doesn't fully hold up.
