Electrique Pulse opens fast, with a peppery blast of cardamom and ginger that mirrors the spiced citrus start of the fragrance it's named for. Lavender arrives quickly rather than gradually, giving the middle stage a clean, almost soapy freshness that sits close to skin. Cedarwood adds a dry, woody backbone without much of the geranium complexity the original leans on. In the base, vetiver and amber bring a smoky, slightly sweet finish, but it fades to a faint skin scent well before the four-hour mark on most wearers. As a budget interpretation, it captures the aromatic-woody direction and the clean night-out mood convincingly for the first stretch of wear, even if it can't match the longer arc or projection of the designer version it's inspired by.
