Pulse Action opens with apple, cardamom and lemon, a bright start that is fruity, citrusy and lightly spiced. The heart brings pepper, more spicy notes and ylang-ylang, so the scent turns drier and a little warmer, with a faint floral sweetness behind the pepper. The base is amber, vetiver, musk and sandalwood. Vetiver gives a dry, earthy feel, sandalwood adds creamy wood, and amber and musk soften the finish. As a cologne it is lively and masculine, with enough depth to avoid feeling thin.
