Fragonard Pivoine is an Eau de Toilette launched in 2017, created by Céline Ellena. Pivoine opens with Red Currant, Mock Orange, and Rhubarb, settles into a heart of Jasmine, Peony, and Mimosa, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, and Iris. Fragonard's Pivoine carries an Acquired verdict, a green-led wear.

Pivoine is a pretty peony eau de toilette that keeps things light. Red currant and rhubarb give the opening a tart, fresh sparkle, peony, jasmine and mimosa fill the heart, and musk, iris and amber leave a soft, powdery finish. Gentle and feminine.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Pivoine opens with red currant, rhubarb and mock orange, a juicy, tart and slightly green start with a hint of white floral. The heart is peony, jasmine and mimosa, which make a soft, fresh and lightly powdery bouquet, with peony clearly at the centre. The base is musk, iris and amber, giving a smooth, powdery and gently warm finish. As an eau de toilette it is light, floral and graceful, an easy scent for spring and summer.
