Fragrance Locker Marina is a Parfum. Marina opens with Citrus, Green, and Pear, settles into a heart of Salt, Water Accord, Rose, and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Musk and Sandalwood. Fragrance Locker's Marina carries a Statement verdict, a aquatic-led wear.

Marina reproduces Acqua di Gioia's watery-floral-mint idea reasonably well in the first hour, with a fair pear and sea salt opening, but the drydown loses the original's clean mineral edge and settles into a generic soft musk far sooner.

About

Giorgio Armani's Acqua di Gioia is a Mediterranean-inspired aquatic floral, built on juicy pear and green notes over a watery jasmine-and-sea-salt heart with a light, sunny musk base, and remains one of the most recognisable clean summer fragrances of the last decade. Marina follows the same brief closely: pear, citrus and green notes open the fragrance, a watery accord blends with jasmine, sea salt, lily of the valley and rose in the heart, and musk and sandalwood provide a soft finish. The opening captures the freshness well and the sea-salt facet gives it a believable oceanic quality for the first hour or so. The original's more mineral, sun-warmed drydown is harder to replicate, and Marina's base leans towards a plainer, more generic soft musk that loses some of that beachy character as it develops. Performance is modest too, closer to a light daytime spritz than an all-day fragrance, so it suits reapplication through a warm day rather than a single morning spray.
