Inspired Oil Perfumes Amouage is a perfume oil. Amouage opens with Almond, Blackcurrant, and Artemisia, settles into a heart of Jasmine, Magnolia, Osmanthus, and Vanilla, and dries down to a base of Papyrus, White Tobacco, Patchouli, and Juniper. Inspired Oil Perfumes's Amouage carries a Statement verdict, a tobacco-led wear.

Inspired By Amouage reaches for Amouage Sunshine Woman's unusual almond-currant-tobacco blend but simplifies the niche complexity considerably, coming across as a straightforward sweet fruity floral rather than the original's boozy, tobacco-laced oddity.

About

Amouage Sunshine Woman is a genuinely strange, characterful niche release, pairing bitter almond and blackcurrant against a warm osmanthus-magnolia heart and a base built on white tobacco, papyrus and juniper - it reads boozy and radiant, and it is one of the harder Amouage compositions to fake convincingly. This oil captures the sweet almond-currant opening reasonably well, but the osmanthus and magnolia flatten into a generic sweet floral, and the tobacco-papyrus-juniper base loses almost all of its unusual, slightly smoky edge, settling into a soft patchouli warmth instead. What is left is a pleasant sweet fruity floral with a light woody finish - agreeable, but missing the eccentric, sunlit weirdness that makes the original memorable.
