Caramel Cloud is the autumn entry in the three-strong Kylie Cosmetics hair and body mist range, and Kylie's own note is that it is meant to be cosy. It opens on almond and pistachio butter, which is a rich, slightly savoury nut pairing rather than a sugary one, and that keeps the first minute from being pure confectionery. Caramel and brown sugar make up the heart and are where the name comes from, sweet and buttery with the caramel reading as soft toffee rather than burnt sugar. Vanilla extract and musk close it, giving a warm, skin-like finish that softens the sweetness rather than stacking more on top. The brand describes it as cosy but elevated and pitches it as capturing your favourite treat, which is fair. Being a hair and body mist it wears light and close, and hair holds it noticeably longer than skin, which is worth knowing since it is sold on that basis. Kylie also sells the three mists as layering pieces, and her own suggestion is to spray Caramel Cloud over the others to make them nuttier and richer. Best in autumn and winter, easy enough for a desk, and available in 236ml or a 100ml travel size.
