Luxe Fragrances Tweed is an Eau de Parfum. Tweed opens with Green Notes, Peppermint, and Lemon Verbena, settles into a heart of Aquatic, Iris, and Violet Leaf, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Ambergris. Luxe Fragrances's Tweed carries a Favourite verdict, a green-led wear.

Luxe Fragrances' Tweed goes after Creed's Green Irish Tweed - verbena and peppermint into orris and violet leaves, closing on sandalwood and grey amber. A recognisable but noticeably thinner take on the sandalwood-ambergris signature.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Tweed is Luxe Fragrances' interpretation of Creed's Green Irish Tweed (1985), the lemon-verbena-sandalwood fougere long considered the definitive 'gentleman's' fresh fragrance. The pyramid runs close to the original's structure: crisp verbena and green leaves open with a cooling peppermint edge, orris and violet leaves build a powdery, sophisticated heart alongside an aquatic accord, and sandalwood, grey amber and patchouli close on the smooth, salty-creamy warmth that makes the real Green Irish Tweed so beloved. The opening freshness and violet-powdery heart are where this dupe lands closest to the target. The gap shows in the base - Creed's sandalwood-ambergris drydown is famously smooth and long-lasting, built from genuinely premium materials, while this version's sandalwood-amber close reads thinner, less creamy and fades noticeably sooner. Best thought of as an accessible way to explore the classic 'freshly tailored suit' character of Green Irish Tweed for office and smart-casual wear, without the niche price.
