Luxe Fragrances Verde is an Eau de Parfum. Verde opens with Bergamot, Lime, and Coconut, settles into a heart of Hibiscus and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Musk and Rum. Luxe Fragrances's Verde carries a Favourite verdict, a coconut-led wear.

Luxe Fragrances' Verde captures the tropical premise of Creed's Virgin Island Water well - coconut and lime opening into jasmine and hibiscus, closing on white rum and musk. Reads sweeter and simpler than Creed's natural, complex original.

About

Verde is Luxe Fragrances' interpretation of Creed's Virgin Island Water (2007), the coconut-lime-rum composition famous for its piña colada character and cult niche status. The pyramid captures the tropical outline well: coconut and lime open with bergamot's citrus lift, jasmine and hibiscus add a floral warmth to the heart, and white rum with musk closes things on a boozy-sweet, sun-drenched note. The comparison holds up best in the opening - both scents are built around that same coconut-lime-rum accord that made Virgin Island Water an instant summer favourite. Where the gap opens is texture: Creed's original is famous for smelling remarkably natural, almost like fresh-cut lime and coconut milk rather than a synthetic fragrance, and this budget version reads noticeably sweeter and more one-dimensional by comparison, with less of that natural, sun-kissed realism. Longevity is also shorter on the dupe. Still, a fun, inexpensive way to get a tropical coconut-rum scent for summer days without the triple-figure niche price.
