Match Fragrances Night is an Eau de Parfum. Night opens with Violet and Lavender, settles into a heart of Birch and Cardamom, and dries down to a base of Musk, Sandalwood, and Labdanum. Match Fragrances's Night carries a Favourite verdict, a fresh-led wear.

Match Fragrances' interpretation of Hugo Boss's Boss Bottled Night (2010) - the Annick Menardo woody-aromatic flanker to Boss Bottled, here translated into a lavender-violet opening over birch and a sandalwood-musk close. Honest dupe-fidelity for evening masculine wear at a fraction of the designer price.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Inspired by Boss Bottled Night is Match Fragrances' budget reading of Hugo Boss's 2010 Boss Bottled Night, the Annick Menardo woody-aromatic composition that became Boss Bottled's most-recommended evening flanker. Match's pyramid mirrors the original community pyramid: lavender and violet on top, a birch-cardamom heart, and a sandalwood-musk-labdanum base. The first hour is the strongest match: lavender lifts with a quiet violet softening it, and the trademark woody-aromatic impression arriving within minutes. By the heart the birch comes forward as the smoky-leather edge with cardamom adding spice. The dry-down trades on sandalwood as the warm woody anchor, with musk and labdanum rounding the close. Performance is the budget compromise: four to six hours of moderate sillage. The character is woody-aromatic-warm masculine, with autumn, winter and evening the natural seasons and date, evening, office, and formal the natural settings. The honest caveat: at fifty millilitres for under thirty pounds, the Hugo Boss's polished sandalwood depth is softened here. Sits next to other budget woody-aromatic dupes in the dupe-house neighbourhood, while the original sits with Boss Bottled, Davidoff Cool Water, and the broader designer-masculine woody conversation.
